The Yemeni military has urged the Worldwide Committee of the Purple Cross (ICRC) to assist retrieve the our bodies of Houthi fighters deserted on battlefields within the central province of Marib and the northern province of Jouf.

Army spokesman Abdu Abdullah Majili advised Arab Information on Tuesday that dozens of corpses of Houthi fighters have been left in battle zones in Jouf and Marib because the Iran-backed militia presses forward with a significant offensive to recapture the oil and gas-rich metropolis of Marib.
