Safety Personnel Saves Life Of Delhi Metro Commuter

A CISF jawan in the present day saved the lifetime of a 45-year-old man.

New Delhi: A CISF jawan saved the lifetime of a 45-year-old man, who fell unconscious at a Delhi metro station, by performing the CPR medical process on him, an official stated on Friday.

The incident happened on the Indraprastha station round 7:40 pm on Thursday.

The person fell unconscious on the platform simply after getting off a practice (between Dwarka-Noida) and CISF constable Anil Gunja seen this as he was on CCTV feed-monitoring responsibility.

Mr Gunja instantly carried out the cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) medical process on the passenger, following which he regained consciousness.

The person, a resident of Uttam Nagar East within the metropolis, was rushed to a close-by hospital and the medical doctors later stated his situation was steady, the official stated.


CPR is an emergency life-saving process that’s carried out when the center stops beating.

The Central Industrial Safety Pressure (CISF) guards the Delhi metro community and has saved quite a few lives by making well timed interventions over time.
