PNG Rugby mourns the lack of Dougie Guise

The Oceania rugby neighborhood is mourning the demise of Papua New Guinea males’s sevens coach Dougie Guise.

A former PNG worldwide in each sevens and fifteens, Guise handed away all of the sudden on Thursday final week.

The PNG Rugby Union mentioned Guise “represented Papua New Guinea with distinction” and the native rugby fraternity had misplaced “a scholar, coach and mentor of our recreation. The influence of his passing will likely be felt in any respect ranges of rugby.”

Oceania Rugby President, Richard Sapias, mentioned the PNG Rugby Union had misplaced a real patron of the game.

The 40 yr outdated Guise made his Pukpuks 7s debut in 2003 and was part of the group that gained the bowl title on the 2010 Commonwealth Video games.
