A ship hearth that broke out at Nelson Port this afternoon has been extinguished.
Fireplace and Emergency NZ (Fenz) mentioned they had been known as to the ship hearth on the Talleys Wharf at 3.20pm.
St John spokesperson despatched one ambulance to Akersten St at Nelson Port and assessed 5 individuals on the scene, all in “minor situation”.
Fenz despatched six home equipment and a command unit to the scene.

Child on the Transfer retailer supervisor Rachel Cooper mentioned she noticed quite a few hearth engines move the shop and heard “plenty of sirens”.
