‘India pursuing crew change subject onboard 2 stranded ships’

New Delhi [India], January 14 (ANI): India is constantly pursuing the difficulty of crew change onboard two ships– MV Anastasia and MV Jag Anand–stranded in Chinese language waters, the Ministry of Exterior Affairs stated on Thursday.

Two cargo vessels with a complete of 39 Indians on board have been on anchorage in Chinese language waters as they have been prohibited to unload their cargo.

Throughout a weekly briefing, MEA spokesperson Anurag Srivastava stated that New Delhi is intently coordinating with Chinese language authorities who’re finalising the method to have an effect on crew change on MV Anastasia at anchorage. MV Anastasia has been within the anchorage close to Caofeidian port since September 20.

For MV Jag Anand, Srivastava stated the ship’s firm, Nice Jap Delivery Firm Restricted, has determined to have an effect on crew change in Chiba, Japan the place the ship will disembark 23 crew members who will probably be flown to their hometowns in India from Tokyo. Jag Anand has been in anchorage close to Jingtang port in Hebei province since June 13.

“Our ministry and mission in China are constantly pursuing the difficulty of crew change onboard the 2 stranded ships MV Anastasia and MV Jag Anand.
